Jeffrey Suttles

Hello, I teach 6th and 7th grade Social Studies at West Bronx Academy(WBA). The 2020-2021 school year is my 1st year teaching at WBA. Before teaching, I worked as Program Coordinator at the Brooklyn Waterfront Research Center.  I am excited to have the opportunity to teach and learn with the students at WBA, I understand that these young people have irreplaceable voices, I also understand that I am here to inspire and guide these voices.

 

When I'm not teaching: I am a writer, musician, and activist for justice through humanity.   

 

I received my B.A. from CUNY City College of New York with a dual degree in Media and Communications Arts (2015), and I'm scheduled to complete my MSEd degree at Pace University (2022). I also completed an M.A degree, at the CUNY Graduate Center in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Digital Humanities (2019).
