A little bit about me

Some of the things I like to do when I am not teaching are to go on hikes, travel, go kayaking, spend time with friends, take photos of flowers and (yes) geology, jog from my house, listen to podcasts and go to the gym.
I have a B.S degree in geology from California State University, East Bay (1992), a M.S. degree in structural geology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (1994), and a M.A.T. in teaching earth science (7th to 12th grade) from the American Museum of Natural History (2015).
