WBA - Who I am?
My name is Ms. Hutchinson. I have been teaching for two years all of which is at West Bronx Academy. I am a part of the Learning Academy (Special Education Department). I teach high school Algebra and Geometry.
Before WBA
Prior to teaching I had many roles in the banking industry. I was also a medical biller for 4 years. I received my Bachelor's in Management Studies from the University of Technology in Jamaica. I recently graduated from Brooklyn College (2020) completing a Masters Degree in Students with Disabilities 7-12.
I have 2 wonderful little girls (4 & 6 years old) and a big young man (21 years old). My spouse and I are both Jamaicans, we enjoy visiting during the summer months. This year thanks to Covid I was able to re-paint the inside of my house about 1700 sq. ft. The local cuisine in Jamaica is very fulfilling and relaxing on the lovely beaches, simply amazing.
I like to do kick boxing exercises and some strength training. I am also into green smoothies and I try to eat healthy most of the time.
